QDMS System Requirements

Hardware
Operating system requirements (SQL server):	Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition x64 with latest Service Pack.
Recommended hardware specs (SQL server):	Intel Quad Core 2.4GHz processor, 8GB RAM, 60Gb free disk space.
Operating system requirements (TS server):	Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition with latest Service Pack.
Recommended hardware speds(TS server):	Intel Quad Core 2.4GHz processor, 8GB RAM (Memory scaling, .5 to 1 GB for operating system and roughly 50MB per TS user) Note: 64-bit version of Windows Server should be considered for Memory configurations over 4GB.
Operating system requirements (FAT clients):	Windows XP Professional with latest Service Pack
Minimum hardware specs (FAT clients):	Intel Pentium 4, 1.5GHz processor, 100MB free memory.
Recommended hardware specs (FAT clients):	Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz processor, 1GB total memory.
Network
Connectivity requirements:	Microsoft SQL Server Client Access Licenses (CALs)
Database requirements:	Microsoft SQL Server 2005 x64 with latest Service Pack
Network / Bandwidth requirements:	TCP/IP network, Minimum 10Mbps of total bandwidth
Data level security:	SQL security or Integrated Security with a Domain
Application level security:	SQL security or Integrated Security with a Domain
Remote user client support?	Yes, if supported on network.

QDMS Interfaces 

Interfaces
Required ERP interfaces:	One interface (SQL query) is required to the existing EPR system deliver Job Master, Product, and Customer information to QDMS.
Required HMI interfaces:	QDMS does not provide automated process control functionality. However, SPC and HMI/SCADA systems can access the QDMS database (SQL query) to provide spc charts.
Interface type:	ERP interface is batch typically configured to run once daily.
ERP system change implications:	The ERP interface that supplies Job Master, Product, and Customer information has to be rewritten.
Data access using 3rd party tools:	Any application or tool that can communicate with MS SQL Server can access the QDMS data.
External Specifications Management	QDMS can be configured to retrieve product specifications that are managed by a 3rd party system provided the database is accessible.

QDMS Support 

Support
Software Maintenance:	MAP-driven software upgrades (technical and/or functional) are included in the annual lease. Additional costs for travel related expenses may apply if the upgrade requires an on site visit for installation.
User Support:	$0 for off-site support (via telephone during normal business hours). On site user support after production launch performed as requested on a Time and Materials + expenses basis.
Bug / Fix	$0 provided it is not environment related. Travel related expenses may apply if an on site visit is required.
Break / Fix:	Time and materials + travel related expenses.
Enhancements:	Time and materials + travel related expenses as requested by client.
Disaster Recovery:	Time and materials + travel related expenses as requested by client.
Desktop replacements:	Time and materials + travel related expenses as requested by client.

QDMS Licensing

Licensing
Licensing Agreement:	QDMS Limited Warranty and Licensing Agreement available upon request.
License Type:	Annual lease.
Lease Duration:	12 months from initial Admin Panel installation.
Lease Scope:	One site (as defined by zip code) with unlimited users, unlimited nodes.
Lease cost:	$10K/site annual lease provided MAP performs process assessment, installation, and training.
	MAP guarantees that the annual lease price will not increase by more than 10%/year.
Multiple environments:	Multiple software environments (i.e. test and production) may be installed at no additional licensing cost.
